2steady
Samuel Newell-Price, also known under the alias 2steady is an artist from South-East London, currently living and working in Leeds. In his work, he merges fine art with his love for graffiti.

After spending many years running around the streets of South London as a graffiti writer, being in places and painting on surfaces he shouldn't be, he transformed his art form more commercially, focusing on large scale murals, steering away from the traditional street bombing and tagging. Some of his original tags and pieces can still be found across South London however the majority have been covered or washed over time.

Over the past few years, he has started working alongside event companies, creating advertisement large scale murals as promotion for the events. Most noticeably, he has worked closely alongside Cortex, painting numerous murals for them across London as well as one in Leeds.

Through his years of graffiti, he has spent a lot of time experimenting with typography, pushing boundaries with letter legibility, creating original and unique alphabets which he uses across all his mediums.
